Colored TL covers for 16mm T5 tubes

Impact resistant fluorescent slide on covers of polycarbonate Lexan, are individually wrapped dust-free.
This material is naturally a UV blocker. When using a fluorescent tube and a material thickness of 250 mu is the UV A B C reduced to zero, measured between 240 nm and 390 nm (UV A B C) at 10 cm distance. The material is extruded at 400 mu, so even thicker.
The clear covers are therefore a good solution to filter UV light.

Please note, using 54W or 80W lamps in a closed compact housing is not recommended due poor heat dissipation. Use at your own risk.
